Loong weekend ... !!!

kuy kuy naayi mari ...

It was around 3AM yesterday night. A small puppy started screaming ... Kuy kuy kuy .. waw waw waw .. We got up as it was disturning too much.. Sowmya likes pets a lot. She kept on asking me to go and check whats the problem.. I was reluctant for some time.. When it was intolerable I had to go in search of this puppy. I searched here n there. Opened the main door and searched near the gate, in the 'mori' ( road side pit) and everywhere. The kuy kuy sound seemed to be coming from very near place. I could not locate it. Then I thougt it might be in in neighbours compund. Peeped there also. Not successful. Then I observed one thing that the direction of the sound was differing left and right. Then I supposed that puppy might be in the terrace. Walked up in search of it. There I found it. It was very happy to see someone. I held my legs very tightly. It was lovely. I liked it. I carried it to Sowmya, to see her blissed face. She was excited to see it. It had stopped screaming. But I realized that it was hugry like hell. We poured a glass of milk and it drank the whole of it at once. We left it outside the compound and it ran away happily..

We slept in peace for the rest of the night .. :-)

Abstract Accepted for IBM Sharenet

Hurray!!!

Every year IBM Conducts Sharenet for all the Competencies. This time SAP Sharenet is scheduled on 25th Aug. Center of Competency had called for abstracts last month. I had submitted mine too.. There were about 130 submission. 8 were selected out of them. I am proud to say that mine was one of the selected abstract. It was on EBP Shopping cart approval. If you remember I had submitted an ICM on this also .. More details on this would be posted in my tech blog


Now I have to work on this and prepare a presentation and submit by 10th Aug. The venue of the event --> ITC Hotel Windsor Sheraton & Towers :-) All big shots and tech guru would be there n that seminar.. I need to prepare very well .. It will be 40 min session from me.. 30 presentation and 10 min Q&A.. Wish me guys ..

What had happened ?

Actually nothing .. I was working on one of the projects which was running from SAP Labs, ITPL.
ITPL is almost out of Bangalore.. around 30KM from my place. It was too hectic project for 10 days.. I could not even view my blog. Uff... its over... I am glad.


Weekend Adventure
Sowmya and I wanted to visit Neeladri some time back, if u remember I had posted in Blog also. Alas it was permanently closed. So this weekend we planned to goto Fun world, an amusement park, which is in Palace Grounds. Enjoyed some 5 rides, including Dashing Car, Roller Coaster, Giant wheel, Columbus and another called Octopus. Sowmya got lil hurt in Dashing car and Roller Coaster.

Chalo I blog regularly from now .. 0-)

Pearl Valley ..

Had been to Pearl valley last weekend. This is one of my fav exposures.

Bad things..

My close friend Anil, aks MS lost his father on last Tuesday .. He was 62, and was diabetic.. and was heart patient. But it was unexpected. He could not take it so easily. He was all set to fly to Singapore for is Maters. His father was backbone to his family.. He was in panic state. Was very tough for us to console him..

Last Thursday my mother suddenly felt very sick. She had some breathing problem. We took her immediately to the hospital.. After all the medications and hospitalizations she is alright now.. Little bit tired. After the investgations we found that she is having a slight heart problem. Doc has started medications for that. Thanks to Dr. Jayaprakash, who took all the pains to investigate and treated her at 11:30 PM. She is discharched from hospital on Friday. I was home all the day taking care of her.. I pray God, that everything goes fine and she gets well soon...

Being at home.. I am watching one of the all time hits of Dr. Rajkumar, Gandhada Gudi .. What a wonderful effort by the whole crew.. I love this movie.. Now listeing to famous song naavaaduva nudiye kannada nudi ..

Weekend :)

Quite excited... weekend has arrived.. From 2-3 weeks I was very busy one or the other programs. Could not relax much.. So decided what come may.. we have to go out tomorrow. So we are planning to goto Neeladri Amusement and Water Park tomorrow. Hope everything goes well ..


But, bad news is that I have to come to office on Sunday for some interviews .. :((

Suri's Marriage

It all started actually on Friday morning. I had a meeting at 6:30 AM Can you believe one can come to office at that time... Reason being, it was Singapore customer and project manager is from US. They scheduled a meeting at 9:00 AM SGP time which will be 9:00 PM in US and 6:30 AM here. Meeting was over by 7:15 AM and I rushed back home to pick my mom. I take her to Marath Halli, Near Bangalore Airport which is around 20 KM from my place.

Suri, my brother-in law's brother and my good friend was getting his upanayana done on the occasion of his marriage which was scheduled on 26th June, ie. yesterday. I dropped mom and stayed there for some time and again rushed back to office.

Saturday, was again a long day. In the morning we had some leisure time and in the evening, Sunil, my brother in law flew to London for on work deputation for few weeks. We had to help him for packing and give a lift to Airport. Before that I dropped my mom to Suri's wedding hall, where in Varapooja was being performed. We dropped Sunil and came back to wedding hall, finished dinner and went back to home. Err.. Sorry missed one thing.. I had to drop Sowmya to her mom's place as she was alone..

Sunday whole day we spent at Suri's wedding. It was very nice. Yet another weekend has gone ... :( .. Planing something really good next week.. Will let you know once decided.

How do people start blogging ...

Yesterday I was thnking how do people start their blogs.. I came to know that only way is seeying others' blogs. So let me list how did I start and how others started looking at mine ..

It started in around May 2004, when Sridhar Rajanna of Kannada Audio started his blog and he used to keep injecting his blog link where ever possible. I used watch his blog often, and comment on it. He is master of KFM (Kannada Film Music). I used to get loads of information from his blog. At present he does not actively blogs..

I have to tell how did Sridhar Rajanna start his blog right?? Sure why not .. If you check my co-blogger lists you find a Blogger named VC. VC, The Big nosed Vinod as he describes himself is brother in law of Sridhar. Sridhar got inspiration from VC ot start his blog.

Let me list people who started/re-started/revamped their blogs looking at mine :)

First of all Jyothi Karant started her blog looking at mine.. I loved her blog name, Anoojna which means One who has aquired Knowledge, if I am right.. Even her blog is sleeping now a days ... To introduce Jyothi.. I must say she is a good singer, she is a Vainik (One who plays Veena), Painter (Can have a look at her couple of paintings in her blog)..

Next comes our beloved Aravinda, very commonly called as sisya. Used to post very interesting facts. Now he has stopped blogging.. Hope might start soon. Sisyan's interest are wild life, adhyaatma, samskrit and english action movies. He is really done great work on Bird watching and study on wild life..

Then started my UVCE classmates, Sridhar, Shashi and Kiran. All are great explorers. They have tripped a lot, trekked a lot. Shashi used his blog for sharing his great trek experiences usually.. Sri keeps updating his weekend activities. Kiran is very talented in writing.. Not much written, may be coz is busy with fiansee :)

One of my IBM friends Sridhar Sarva, also got inspired and started his blog but alas stopped at very early stage :(

Kishan, one of my good friends and RSS buddy had his old blog. But he revamped to new blog after seeying mine ...*Proud smile*. Kishan is a great photographer, a music lover. You can see awesome exposures in his nicely maintained blog.


Recently my senior RSS friend, Narendra restarted his blog. He used to blog last year and had stopped for some reason. I had placed a comment in his blog long time back.. (even I had forgotten).. He recently saw the comment and viewed my blog and restrated his blog..
