Kerala Trip - Hmm Honeymoon trip ... (^o^)

It was our Honeymoon trip to Kerala, the God's Own Country. It was just amazing !!!!

Trip strated on Friday evening ... the 13th May.
Started from Bangalore to Cochi by KPN Volvo bus. It was quite good except a dabba malayalam movie till 12 Midnight. Sowmya was irritated like hell..
Reached New Cochi by 6:30 AM..
Refreshed had breakfast in Udupi Bhavan
Our Taxi Driver, Mr Mohan was ready and started Munnar ..
On the way we found a small falls.. It was very charming and attractive ... We took a break there

We reached West Wood river side resort. They gave some dabba room. Shouted at them and got an executive room..


Evening we went to near by Tea Musuem and to some tea plantations .. Can you the misty clouds... we could almost touch 'em



Evening we went for boating just behind our resort.. Initially the guy told no boats available.. we were so sad.. then by chance one boat got freed up... and we go it ... hurreyyy!!


Next morning after breakfast we went for sight seeying...
Went to Raja Malai.. on the way a tea plantation ... took a break ..


This is what we see in there ... whats this called .. wild bakra ?? This can climb the rocks vertically.. wow !!


It was very hot day .. There was a traffic jam on the way up the hill. We had to get down and walk up the hill for half an hour..

From Rajamalai we started to Mettupatty dam. It is a superb dam. Very nice place..


We went to speed boat ride .. ... zoooooooom it was amazing experience ...


From there we went to Echo point.. where u get bakc the echo .. I meanif you shout .. I shouted "Sowmyaaaaaaaa" .. However she was shy to shout my name aloud :)


Next was Kundala Dam.. Superb place... Very romantic place... Damn it .. we dint get the boating again ......... mammeeeeeeee ... I was almost like crying .. It was so cool place,,


Some Aunty and uncle were enjoying the romantic place ...

Last place on that day was top station.. It was too late by the time we reached there ... could not see any view from there except

I have changed my House

My sister has built a new house in Banashankari 3rd stage, very near to Kamakya. We have rented our house and shifted to her house. We have occupied the ground floor and she the first floor. We have shifted both the houses on Saturday. It was very hectic. Details Later.

Trip to Srirangapattana

We had planned it last month itself. Some how postponed to Mar 20th. We wanted to go somewhere. Place has not been decided till last thursday. One of the folks proposed a place called Gosai Ghat near Sriranga Pattana. It was RSS gang. We call an RSS trip as a Sahal.

All folks came to my place on Saturday night. We had plans to prepare Chapathi and Tomoto Onion Curry ( "Gojju" ) for the next day breakfast. It was a total team effort. Guys had bought provisions for the various menu items. Like Atta, Rice, Vegitables, Milk, Oil, Masala Mix etc etc. Jayram, our cheif chef started by preparing the Chapathi mix. Murali and Soma and Jayram started preparing round shaped chapathi by Kneading the dough, we call this process as "Lattisu" . Jayram and I started Frying. Manohar was busy in cutting the vegitables for curry.. Shivasharan and Shivakumar were assistants for us. We started at around 10:30 PM and finished 50 Chapathis by 1 AM .. Man we have taken so much of time..

We slept turning on our alarms at 4:45AM. Alas!! it did its job very sincerly. We had to get up so early.. All were ready by 6. Gopi and Soma brought the 14 seater Tempo Traveller. We started by 6:30 and reached Srirangapattana at around 10:30 AM. Went to sangama to have breakfast. Our beloved Chapathis.. Sangama is a cool place. River Kaveri and Lokapavani meet there.

From their we started to Gosai Ghat which is around 3 KM from Sangama. What a pleasant place it was. We spent almost the whole day there. Were in water for more than 3 hrs. Then at 12:30 we satrted cooking. Menu was Bisi bele bath (aka. BBB) and Curd Rice. We started from scratch. Again it was Jayram, Venkatesh Ji, Murli and myself were the chefs. BBB and Curd Rice were ready in an hour. This time we were little fast.

Next destination was Nimishamba Temple. Went there by 4. The idol was very very attractive. After we spent some time there we strated back to Bangalore.

Reached Bangalore by 8:30PM..

I know they are rivals .. But why should they act this way. They dont talk properly. I use Airtel. I dont get calls from BSNL properly. Frieds shout at me saying why I dont take their calls. sometimes have problems to reach BSNL. Is it purposely done for business politics or is it technical issue. I am not sure..

All Hands Meet

2 weeks back one of our Managers called for a meeting regaring All Hands Meet.. In our Account called e-Procurement, we have arond 10-12 projects running containing around 80 folks. Getting all of them on one platform for a couple of hours and lightening our work pressure was the theme of All Hands Meet.. It was just an initiatoin.. From there we took everything on our hands.

Sam David was proposed to be as the Chief Architect of the the whole event. Then we formed a 10 membered co-ordinators team. The whole work was distributed in a very beautiful manner.

It was superb team work and wonderfully executed. I was also the part of Music team. Sang a duet and a group song. Duet was "Aaja sanam madhur Chandini mein hum" from the movie Chori Chori (1956)



and the group song was "Ek tu hi bharosa" from the movie Pukar. Both came out quite well..

Bowling

It was shilpa's birthday yesterday.. Happy Birthday Shilpa.
We all had gone for bowling.. Yes to Amoeba. It was great fun ..
But ... sad think is out of 5 players ( Shilpa, Karthik, Sowmya, Yashu, Raju bhava) I scored least mammeee

More than anything even mom had come and even she bowled. Infact we forced her to bowl. She enjoyed :)...



Sowmya and I presented her a cute Chain and Ear ring. She liked it very much.

5deg above Mean Temp

According to WorldWeather.org Bangalore's average high temp for Feb is 29.6. But all the days of the last week has witnessed temp more than the avg. Yesterday it was 34deg celsius. Why ???

I can list some here:

1. Number of trees that have been cut for construction activities is more than 2000 last year.
2. Conversion of green belts to residential sites.
3. Almost ZERO agricultural land inside city
4. Closing of Lakes
5. Too much of traffic. No proper control.
6. High People inflow

Can you list some more ??
